Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a driven HVAC Territory Manager to support and grow our HVAC business across the Cleveland market. This field-based, customer-facing sales role builds strong contractor relationships and identifies growth opportunities to help customers run more profitable, efficient businesses.

You’ll be backed by Ferguson’s national scale and vendor partnerships, with an uncapped commission structure, auto allowance, and provided cell phone and laptop.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of outside sales or account management in HVAC or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow an assigned HVAC territory by building strong relationships with residential and light commercial contractors.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
• Serve as a consultative partner by understanding contractor workflows and growth goals, recommending HVAC equipment and solutions.
• Collaborate with branch teams, vendor partners, and internal specialists to ensure accurate quoting and reliable fulfillment.
• Analyze territory performance, market trends, and competitive activity to implement effective sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and customer activity in CRM tools.
• Build product knowledge and stay up to date on HVAC technologies and market trends.
