Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking a reliable and motivated HVAC Technician to join the Facilities team. This hands-on role supports the critical systems that keep a nationally recognized healthcare campus operating safely and efficiently, working alongside Journeyman HVAC Mechanics to expand skills and contribute to patient and staff comfort.

You will perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs, assist with installations and upgrades, and help maintain pumps, valves, motors and controls.

Qualifications

• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Assists with troubleshooting, equipment installations and system upgrades across campus.
• Maintains pumps, valves, motors, compressors, controls and related building systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical systems
• Assists with troubleshooting, equipment installations and system upgrades across campus
• Maintains pumps, valves, motors, compressors, controls and related building systems
• Completes work orders, preventive maintenance documentation and inventory tracking
• Participates in the Facilities on-call rotation and supports campus operations as needed
