Job summary

Mentor Technical Group is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance, install and service HVAC systems, and ensure compliance with safety and cgmp standards. The role requires reading schematics, boiler knowledge, and ability to work after hours when needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HVAC, a valid license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and document work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC license required.
• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC technician experience.
• Understanding of heating, cooling, and refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read schematics and work from instructions.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and general maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret instructions and safety procedures for HVAC processes.
• Install and maintain diverse heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Lay out wires and pipes to complete HVAC systems.
• Ensure installations comply with set standards and safety procedures.
• Calibrate thermostats and other controls; check motors and belts.
• Repair motors and service steam and hot water boilers.
• Respond to emergency situations to resolve issues promptly.
• Record faults and time/materials used on work orders.
