Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician for the 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM), Tuesday through Saturday, to maintain and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems in a cGMP environment. You will manage AHUs, chillers, boilers, and related equipment, coordinate preventive maintenance, and supervise contractors as needed.

You must hold a High School diploma or GED and EPA 608 Universal certification, with 5+ years of HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• EPA Clean Air Act Section 608 Universal certification is required.
• 5+ years HVAC experience.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, cGMPs, and Work Order Requests.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and complete OSHA Respirator Fit Test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC systems including AHUs, humidification/dehumidification, chillers, FCUs, water source heat pumps, refrigeration units, and related components.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with departments.
• Perform installation, calibration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and controls.
• Complete work orders and logbooks documenting work performed.
• Supervise outside contractors for maintenance, repairs, and projects.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and enforce procedures.
• Support qualification protocols for utilities equipment installation and operations.
• Read blueprints, piping, and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to emergency calls and on-call shifts; may include weekends.
