Job summary

Mentor Technical Group seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventative and general maintenance on HVAC systems at client sites. You will read and interpret instructions, install and calibrate controls, replace worn parts, and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, after-hours work, and coordinating with site teams. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in variable conditions is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• License required with HVAC experience (3+ years) and willingness to continue education in HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and general maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret instructions and safety procedures for HVAC processes.
• Install and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
• Lay out wires and pipes to complete HVAC systems.
• Ensure installations meet standards and secure loose wires.
• Calibrate thermostats and other controls.
• Lubricate motors and belts and inspect for wear.
• Respond to emergency situations to resolve issues quickly.
