Job summary

Walmart Edmond, OK is seeking an HVAC technician to install and service building HVAC systems. You will configure controls, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

This role requires reading blueprints and following safety standards while coordinating with managers and technicians. The position includes on-call rotations and operates in a fast-paced retail facilities environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or equivalent vocational training required.
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance or related HVAC experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC systems, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Configures and calibrates direct digital controls and building automation systems.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and control issues and performs repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Completes work orders and maintains documentation.
• Operates a company vehicle and coordinates service calls.
