Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to perform PMs, troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment. You will service DX systems, VAVs, and mission-critical equipment from Liebert, Stulz and Data Aire.

Strong communication and safety awareness are essential in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include reading wiring diagrams, using multi-meters, and maintaining documentation while coordinating with the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience.
• Any similar combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand refrigeration cycle and identify components; troubleshoot using gauges and charts.
• Read wiring diagrams and use multi-meters to test voltage, current, and resistance.
• Install, troubleshoot and repair DX equipment, heat pumps and packaged units up to 5 ton.
• Work safely and document activities; communicate with Service Manager on scheduling.
