Job summary

CEC Companies in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosis of HVAC equipment, including DX systems (water and air cooled), VFDs, and mission critical units from Liebert, Stulz and Data Aire.

You will read wiring diagrams, use multimeters and manifold gauges, communicate with the Service Manager, and ensure safe, high-quality repairs in a fast-paced, safety‑sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience preferred.
• Experience with DX systems, VAVs, and complex controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnosing HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair DX systems (water and air cooled) and chiller components.
• Read wiring diagrams and use electrical testing tools to verify operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites.
