Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an HVAC Technician 2 to deliver portable HVAC equipment, perform operation and repair tasks, and provide exemplary customer service. You will check in and repair gear, assist with shop duties, and deliver/install CC equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule. Base pay is competitive with benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC experience/training.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Able to work after hours and weekends during peak times.
• HVAC Certificate preferred.
• Must maintain safe operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers and staff to schedule deliveries and service calls.
• Delivers and installs HVAC equipment; trains operator on safe use.
• Directs customers to sign paperwork; tracks serial numbers.
• Troubleshoots and understands operation and controls of rental equipment.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows safety policies.
• Cleans and tests returned equipment to ensure proper operation and appearance.
• Completes paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups and service calls.
• Installs gas hose on propane and natural gas applications.
• Checks gas connections safely and properly.
• Maintains records of in-stock and rented equipment with managers.
• On call for emergency service on rotating weekends/evenings.
