Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician 2 to professionally deliver and install portable HVAC equipment, ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction.

The role includes training customers and staff on proper use, checking equipment in/out, and maintaining accurate records for service calls. The position requires 3–5 years of HVAC experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work after hours and weekends during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of formal HVAC experience/training.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• HVAC Certificate preferred (state licensed refrigeration work).

Responsibilities

• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment; trains authorized operator on safe use.
• Communicates with customers, managers and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pickups and service calls.
• Keeps track of serial numbers and paperwork; ensures equipment operation and appearance meet standards.
• Responsible for safe operation of company vehicle and adherence to safety policies.
• Responds to emergency service on a rotating weekend/evening schedule.
