City of Dallas is seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician II to install, inspect, and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment across city facilities. You will troubleshoot complex systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient operation of critical HVAC infrastructure.

The role requires a minimum of four years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• HVAC system knowledge and repair skills.
• Ability to use hand and portable power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical descriptions and plans.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical codes related to HVAC work.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC equipment in city facilities.
• Troubleshoots electrical components and pneumatic controls on HVAC systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance, checks drains, clears pipes, and replaces motors.
• Maintains records of work orders and materials; monitors supplies and equipment.
• Assists Apprentices and responds to temperature-related calls to adjust building comfort.
