Job summary

Liberty 53 School District is seeking an HVAC Technician I to support maintenance at Liberty, Missouri. The position is 12 months with starting date immediately, offering a competitive hourly wage and district benefits.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring safety and compliance at all times. This is a full-time, on-site role within the Maintenance Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC repair and maintenance required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• EPA Certification, 2-year certification.
• On-call rotation and emergency response familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains HVAC units to ensure safe operation.
• Coordinates with manager and trades to complete projects and work orders.
• Diagnoses HVAC issues and identifies repair or replacement needs.
• Installs and upgrades HVAC equipment and systems as required.
• Prepares documentation and repair logs.
