Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking an HVAC Technician I in Front Royal, VA to install, maintain, repair and upgrade HVAC systems, and to diagnose and repair components as needed. You will read blueprints, record measurements, and document work performed to ensure safe, efficient operation.

This hourly, non-exempt role is based on a Monday–Friday schedule with potential night or weekend emergencies. A valid license and CFC certification are preferred. Training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CFC certification (Universal or Type II) and valid driver’s license preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting HVAC service issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units; diagnose electronic, mechanical and electrical components.
• Conduct regular inspections and coordinate corrective actions with management/contractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate records of parts and labor.
