Job summary

The Clubs at St James in Southport, NC is seeking a Full-Time HVAC Technician to join Troon’s hospitality-focused property team. You will plan, install, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, and respond to on-call maintenance needs on weekends.

Qualified candidates have an HVAC Technician Certificate and at least two years of relevant experience or training, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• HVAC Technician Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility.
• Two years of HVAC and refrigeration training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and modifies HVAC systems to minimize material waste and meet local codes.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, and assembles HVAC ductwork.
• Splices wires and repairs HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Connects HVAC wiring to household power supply.
• Installs controls and distribution apparatus in HVAC equipment.
• Inspects, troubleshoots, and maintains HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Repairs or replaces faulty HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Assists on HVAC/refrigeration projects.
• Participates in weekend on-call schedule and responds to calls promptly.
