Job summary

Scott Brothers Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Boone, NC. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain residential HVAC systems, performing routine service and installations while ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, strong customer service, and ability to manage fleet and inventory, with a commitment to reliability and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

1 year of residential HVAC service experience minimum (required).
Sales and customer service experience required.
Must pass motor vehicle, background check and drug screen.
Physical dexterity and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
Test system performance and energy efficiency with specialized tools.
Install, repair, or replace defective HVAC components.
Identify upgrades to improve performance and efficiency.
Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
Comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
