Job summary

SC Johnson in Racine, WI seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and install a range of HVAC equipment including roof top units, chillers, steam systems, and ductwork. This is a first shift, full-time role with overtime to support site overhaul and maintenance projects.

The ideal candidate holds EPA 608 and refrigerant licenses, 5 years HVAC experience, and a Journeyman license or HVAC technical degree, with strong troubleshooting and safety mindset.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal license required.
• Refrigerant license required.
• 5 years’ experience in HVAC trade.
• Journeymen license or technical degree in HVAC.
• Able to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems on HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and install HVAC equipment including roof top units, exhaust systems, chillers, DX units, steam & condensate systems, and water utilities.
• Complete Preventative Maintenance plans and maintain system records.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems and equipment failures.
• Work independently or in teams; rotate to different assignments as needed.
• Demonstrate ownership, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
