Job summary

WillScot is seeking an HVAC Technician to ensure safety and high-quality work across all HVAC activities for our modular unit products. You will assist with HVAC layouts, installations, and ongoing maintenance while complying with company policies and regulations.

Primary responsibilities include ensuring safe operations, organizing work areas, performing repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems, and maintaining strong customer relationships in various branch locations.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge and experience with HVAC equipment and appliances.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience helpful including electrical, plumbing, and welding aspects.
• A current valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Acts in accordance with WillScot Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
• Leads and promotes employee health and safety results through safety meetings and STOP training.
• Attends periodic safety meetings and maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Operates company vehicle safely and maintains a valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ensures trailers ready for scheduled deliveries with high first-time quality within +/-10% accuracy.
• Performs repairs and modifications (framing, finish carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear) on modular buildings.
• Plans installations to minimize material waste and allows future maintenance access.
• Monitors HVAC systems and performs routine preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintains inventory levels of equipment, tools, and materials to complete daily tasks.
• Performs HVAC system checks and repairs faulty equipment as required.
• May conduct service calls and provide courteous customer service in branch territories.
• Uses Net Promoter System to address internal issues and ensures on-time in full deliveries and returns.
• Drives high product quality and builds strong relationships with customers.
• Closes multi-sectional units, assists in ordering materials, and performs forklift operations.
• Provides training to other service personnel to ensure standard work and company guidelines are followed.
