Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• One of the following licenses: Journeyman Electrical License, Registered ACR Technician, or Journeyman Plumber License.
• Experience with blueprints and valid driver's license.
• General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and non-complex reactive repairs.
• Update work statuses and document tasks completed in CMMS.
• Assist in manpower and material determination.
• Clean and repair HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Make decisions on repairs and report major problems.
• Support project-management activities as needed.

Skills

Commercial HVAC experience

Boiler experience

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Blueprint and schematic reading

Education
