Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a leading facilities management and building services company in West Union, SC, to hire an HVAC Technician. You will diagnose, service, and repair chillers, DX units, heat pumps, and rooftop units, and hold EPA 608 certification.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and energy efficiency. First-shift with potential overtime offers valuable hands-on experience in industrial HVAC environments.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience with chillers (up to 300 tons) and large HVAC systems (150–200 tons).
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Knowledge of BAS/BMS and HVAC electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair refrigerant-based HVAC equipment including chillers and rooftop units.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, low-voltage controls, sensors and automation devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance, refrigerant recovery, leak detection, and compressor repairs per EPA standards.
• Monitor system performance to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
• Complete maintenance work orders and support commissioning and startup activities.
