REVEL SEARCH is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join its Facilities team in Flint, Michigan. This role focuses on maintaining heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration systems in a large healthcare environment, supporting reliable, year-round operations.

You will work on a variety of HVAC, refrigeration and building systems, perform system testing, balancing and troubleshooting, and coordinate projects with other skilled trades to keep a complex healthcare facility running

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background with hands-on troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Experience working in large facilities or healthcare environments is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from specifications.

Responsabilités

• Maintain HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Work with compressors, condensers, pumps and piping to ensure uptime.
• Perform system testing, balancing and operational troubleshooting.
• Respond to emergencies and implement equipment adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate projects with other skilled trades and facilities team members.
• Fabricate or modify components and assist with system improvements.

Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join its Facilities team in Flint, Michigan.

This isn’t residential service work. You’ll be part of the team responsible for maintaining the heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration systems that support a complex healthcare environment every day.

What You’ll Work On

• Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Compressors, condensers, pumps and piping
• Climate controls and heat-transfer systems
• Pneumatic and electrical controls
• System testing, balancing and operational troubleshooting
• Emergency repairs and equipment adjustments

You may also fabricate or modify components, work from blueprints and specifications, assist with system improvements, and coordinate projects with other skilled trades.

What We’re Looking For

Candidates should have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience troubleshooting HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

You may qualify through either of these paths:

• Journeyman-level Plumber or Pipefitter with documented HVAC training; OR
• At least 4 years of Building Trades, Maintenance or Industrial repair experience, along with completion of an approved Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration program.

Preferred but not required:

• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Working knowledge of warm-air and hydronic heating systems

Warm Air or Hydronics Heating License is not required at hire, but must be obtained within two years of employment.
