Job summary

Mechanical Services LLC in Brighton, Michigan, is seeking a skilled Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial/industrial HVAC systems and EPA Universal Certification.

Responsibilities include maintenance, inspection, and repair of boilers, chillers, and large air handling units, plus diagnosis, installation, and safe operation. On-call rotations and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC service technician, specifically with commercial and industrial systems.
• Boiler knowledge is a great addition
• Valid EPA Universal Certification.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record as well as a drug test
• Willingness to work on-call rotations and occasional overtime as needed.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes of problems.
• Install, repair, and replace various HVAC components, including compressors, motors, fans, and control systems.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, recommended solutions, and service performed.
