Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across a campus-based complex in El Paso, TX. The role involves hands-on work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, with focus on safety and building reliability.

The applicant will troubleshoot, train, and support teams within the territory, performing audits and repairs in accordance with JLL standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED or equivalent vocational training in a related field.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience with NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, EPA certification is preferred.
• Ability to use CMMS, ABS, and BMS systems; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with team members, contractors, clients, and customers.
• Schedule and prioritize work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Engage others to gain cooperation and teamwork.
• Conduct performance counseling and performance management of direct reports.
• Apply safe work practices, especially for energized work, heights, and confined spaces.
• Identify and mitigate risks; apply proper PPE usage.
• Perform OM&R on HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Life Safety, and other systems.
• Provide preventive maintenance and repair of building systems to maintain peak operations.
