Indian River State College is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain and repair campus HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and related equipment. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for students and staff.

Qualified candidates will have EPA refrigerant certification, a valid Florida driver’s license, and 5+ years of field experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting experience required.
• EPA Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Valid Florida driver's license required.
• Associate degree or two-year HVAC technical schooling preferred.
• Five years of recent HVAC experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform HVAC system maintenance and repairs on campus equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records for all work performed.
• Follow safe work procedures and comply with local regulations.
• Calibrate thermostats and replace motors, pumps, and compressors as needed.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and participate in preventative maintenance.
