Broward College is seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician for the Central Campus. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on a full-time basis with a third shift schedule.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, five+ years of related experience, and relevant certifications including Mechanical Journeyman and EPA Freon. Driver's license is required by Florida standards.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and related system understanding required.
• Familiarity with pneumatic/electronic controls and related safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams; proficiency with schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC equipment and systems.
• Operates and handles various equipment and testing instruments daily.
• Performs brazing, soldering, pipefitting and welding as needed.
