Job summary

Butler Community College on the El Dorado campus is seeking a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician. The role installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots climate control and refrigeration systems across campus facilities.

Qualifications include 5+ years journeyman experience, a valid license, CFC certification, and the ability to work overtime during emergencies. The position offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed journeyman with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Masters license preferred.
• Must stay current with EPA regulations and practices.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot HVAC climate control and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and perform routine maintenance.
• Work on chillers/boilers and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Coordinate with other trades and supervise helpers as needed.
