Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time work in installation, maintenance, repair and operation of HVAC, boilers, refrigeration and building automation systems.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for years of experience up to two years.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair air conditioning systems from large packaged units to window units.
• Design and install ductwork including supply/return, plenum, truck and branch lines.
• Perform inspections, tests and diagnostics to ensure proper operation of HVAC equipment.
• Charge and recover refrigerants in compliance with environmental standards.
• Collaborate with electricians and other trades on complex building systems.
