Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyperson HVAC license and/or mechanical with State of Iowa.
• EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigeration.
• Five years HVAC service experience.
• Three years rooftop unit repair, maintenance, and programming experience.
• Knowledge of water treatment in open and closed loop systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and vendor software.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on chiller and/or reciprocating compressor systems.
• Replaces belts and maintains air handler units.
• Installs and maintains ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Maintains logs and uses building automation systems.
• On-call 24/7 as part of duty requirements.
