Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a HVAC Technician Assistant - Truck Driver in Manchester, NH. You will assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment, while supporting field technicians and ensuring safety.

You will transport tools, log maintenance activities, and help with repairs on fan coils, water source heat pumps, rooftops, and related equipment. The role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a path to advanced HVAC responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• Clean driver's license and driving record.
• HVAC experience or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment and log machines.
• Drive company vehicle to job sites and transport tools/materials.
• Assist with repair and replacement of defective equipment and wiring.
• Support HVAC system rebuilds and testing on units such as rooftops, coils, and pumps.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety policies.

In this role, you will be assisting in the diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. The responsibilities will increase based on exposure to tasks, ability to develop troubleshooting skill set, and consistent and accurate completion of assignments. The HVAC equipment you will be servicing includes but is not limited to large and small rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers. The rate is subject to the amount outlined in the CBA and could change based on the level offered.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
