Daikin Applied, the world's leading HVAC company, is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician I in Atlanta, GA. You’ll service commercial equipment, including rooftops, chillers, and boilers, and receive comprehensive training onsite, online, and on the job.

You will maintain and inspect systems, assist with repairs, document work, and interact with customers. OSHA 10 and EPA Universal preferred; HS diploma or HVAC certificate and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certificate or associate's degree preferred.
• 0-2 years related work experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Technician certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service commercial HVAC equipment (rooftop units, chillers, boilers, etc.).
• Perform maintenance tasks: logs, cleaning, replacing filters/belts, lubrication.
• Assist in repairs and warranty service by inspecting and testing systems.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and service reports promptly.
• Explain technical information to customers and communicate status before/after calls.
• Participate in training through Daikin trainers and learning modules.
• Follow OSHA and Daikin safety policies and maintain a clean work area.

Come be part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive everything we do!Location: Atlanta, GA. – OnsiteYour Responsibilities:Assist and perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts and proper lubricationAssist in the repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, applied air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubesMaintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacksAssist with warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of HVAC equipment and componentsRecord and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely mannerInteract with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiencesParticipate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning.
