Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

The role suits technicians who work independently and take pride in safe, high-quality work. Responsibilities include diagnosing and servicing rooftop units, boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, exhaust systems, and related controls; performing preventive maintenance; reading wiring diagrams; documenting work; and

Qualifications

• Four or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or large commercial systems preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, boilers, chillers, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, exhaust systems, and related controls.

• Follow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and applicable codes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles.

Position Overview

The Industrial HVAC Technician will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical systems. This position is ideal for a technician who works independently, diagnoses problems accurately, and takes pride in completing safe, high-quality work.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control-system issues
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals

Qualifications

• Boiler, chiller, controls, refrigeration, or hydronics experience is a plus
• OSHA, NATE, HVAC Excellence, or manufacturer certifications are a plus
