Job summary

Frederickson Electric of Port Townsend, WA is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician (06 or higher electrical certificate preferred) to join our growing team. A minimum of five years in HVAC service, repair, and installation is required, with a focus on quality customer service and safety.

You will work on residential and light commercial systems, troubleshoot refrigerant circuits, assist with heat pumps and ductless units, and stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

• EPA certification required; NATE certification a plus.
• At least five years of HVAC service, repair and installation experience.
• Understanding refrigerant circuits and superheat/subcooling.
• Fully understands HVAC electrical circuits and related controls.
• Experience with brazing and purging with nitrogen.
• Experience replacing compressors, reversing valves, TXVs, and leaks.
• Experience with inverter-driven heat pumps including ductless.
• WA driver's license with clean driving record.
• Own hand tools.

Eligible Applicants Must Have:

• -EPA certification (NATE certification is a plus)
• -A strong understanding of refrigerant circuits and superheat / subcooling.
