Job summary

Sky Heating is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech in the Portland area. You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, deliver high quality service, and work with a friendly team committed to customer satisfaction.

Requirements include at least two years in HVAC service, EPA refrigerant handling certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license; NATE preferred. Opportunities for overtime and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years HVAC service, diagnostic, and repair experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification preferred.
• NATE certification in HVAC installation or service preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC system issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
• Communicate effectively with customers and document service visits.
• Continuously develop skills through weekly trainings and education.

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to HVAC systems

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in HVAC service, diagnostic, and repair
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling, preferred
• NATE certification in HVAC installation or service, preferred
• Willingness to continue education in HVAC field
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
