Wednesday to Saturday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Summary of Duties / Essential Functions
- Performs all maintenance department service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience.
- Checks malfunctioning equipment and ascertains corrective action required to restore to satisfactory operating condition.
- Supports the preventative maintenance program by performing preventative maintenance tasks on pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, AHU’s, FCU’s, RTU’s, W.S. and A.C. H.P.’s, MAU’s, E.F.’s, and associated systems.
- Orders parts and equipment required for repair, maintenance and installation of new equipment and facilities, and maintains inventory.
- Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
- Ensures the availability of an adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies.
- Prepares and submits purchase order requests, develops sources for stock materials and performs periodic checks for supplies.
- Any and all other duties/tasks assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 2+ years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and/or HVAC preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- EPA universal license required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
