Job summary

Sodexo in Lima, OH is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems on-site. You will monitor operations, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to service requests while upholding safety standards.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, EPA CFC Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of various commercial HVAC systems. Shifts are mornings with varying days; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• EPA CFC Universal Certification required.
• Knowledge of various HVAC systems incl. commercial & chilled water.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitor HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Respond to hot and cold calls, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Check, repair and/or replace valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other components.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties as required by accounts and client needs.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20 per hour - $35 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems
• Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standards
• Respond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Check, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the system
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done. Minimum requirement is EPA CFC Universal Certificate.
• Working knowledge of a variety of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, variable air, variable refrigerant flow, single/multi-split and other commercial systems.
• May be required to have previous BMS experience if working in a commercial environment.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
