Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior General Maintenance Worker for Blythdale Children's Hospital. The role involves performing diverse maintenance tasks, solving problems, and promoting safety to ensure a secure and functional hospital environment. Shifts vary, and open availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in skilled areas (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.).
• Replace light bulbs, install paper dispensers, change filters, locks, and minor decorative maintenance.
• May train and coordinate work activities of apprentices/workers.
• Attend shifts on time; maintain reliable attendance.
• Other duties as required by account and client needs.

Location: BLYTHEDALE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL - 42500003

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $37.08 per hour - $37.08 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman
• May train and coordinate work activities of General Maintenance Apprentices and General Maintenance Workers
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
