Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician at the University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center to lead hands-on preventive maintenance and system repairs. You will work with the HVAC leadership team to ensure safety and reliability of critical building systems.

You will leverage your 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and knowledge of BMS/BAS to troubleshoot issues, supervise technicians, and ensure programs run on schedule.

Qualifications

• EPA CFC Universal certificate required.
• 5+ years of related HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems (chilled water, VAV, VRF, single/multi-split).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitor HVAC systems and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Respond to hot and cold calls and troubleshoot issues.
• Inspect valves, motors, controls, wiring, pumps, condensers, and other components.
• May train new technicians on commercial HVAC systems, BMS and BAS.

By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.Responsibilities include:Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systemsMonitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance performs according to established schedules and standardsRespond to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issuesCheck, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes, and other functional components of the systemAttends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularityMay be responsible for training new technicians in commercial HVAC systems, building management systems (BMS) and building automation systems (BAS).Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.What You Bring:Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.5 or more years of related work experience.Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
