Kelso Industries, a nationwide provider of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical solutions, is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our service team.

You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize commercial systems across large facilities, with a safety-first mindset and a track record of delivering high-quality service.

This role offers competitive pay up to $45/hour, a company vehicle, benefits, PTO, and opportunities for continued training.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Familiarity with VRF systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting across low and high voltage systems.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC equipment.
• Commission and startup commercial HVAC systems, optimizing for peak efficiency.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and supporting equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation of all service work, repairs, and recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with customers about system conditions, findings, and next steps.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, EPA standards, and internal company policies.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior technicians when applicable.

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Technician with expertise in commercial systems to join our service team. In this role, you'll handle complex diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, installs, and system optimization across large commercial and industrial facilities. • Commission and start up commercial HVAC systems, optimizing for peak efficiency.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and supporting equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Factory certifications or formal training on major chiller manufacturers.
• Comfortable with installation, start up and commissioning.
