Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced HVAC field service professional to develop training programs, provide technical support, and help expand our on-site service capabilities. The role involves coordinating with branches, training customers and employees on installation guidelines, and helping improve warranty processes while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/AA in related field preferred.
• 5+ years HVAC field service experience.
• Travel up to 50% locally, state, and regional as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Develop guidelines and tools to meet growing demand for technical sales and provide technical support.
• Create a NATE training program and implement training for customers and employees.
• Assist Branch/Account Managers in closing sales opportunities with larger dealers and provide technical training.
• Develop structure for warranty processes and unit exchanges to improve customer service.
• Track warranty failure rates and training attendance; report findings regularly.
• Assist branches in becoming leading NATE testing centers in the U.S.
