Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2‑5 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, airflow principles, and HVAC system components.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Familiarity with controls, PLCs, and building automation systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on AboveAir HVAC products to internal teams, customers, and channel partners.
• Support the design, testing, and validation of airflow, refrigeration, and control systems.
• Review project specifications, submittals, and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with product capabilities and industry standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting field issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges and improve product quality.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, wiring diagrams, and performance data.
• Participate in product improvement initiatives, leveraging customer feedback and field performance insights.
• Provide training and technical support for sales teams, service technicians, and end users.
• Ensure all engineering activities align with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
