Job summary

Advanced Thermal Solutions, LLC – a member of the AIR Control Concepts family – seeks an Application Engineer in Elkridge, MD to design HVAC systems, select equipment, and support sales teams.

You will act as a technical advisor to customers and partners, ensuring successful integration of solutions in commercial and industrial projects while maintaining high customer satisfaction and application excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering is required or alternately a technical cert/associate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of HVAC design, sales support, or applications engineering experience (internships count).
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, industrial processes and building mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review project specs and drawings to select equipment and prepare submittals.
• Support the sales team with quotes, proposals and value engineering.
• Collaborate with design engineers, contractors and end-users to resolve technical issues.
