Job summary

Medxcel in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Building Maintenance professional to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, and related systems at the Columbia St/ Mary's Hospital – Milwaukee Campus. The role supports energy management and safety programs, with after-hours readiness and teamwork across the Facilities department.

The ideal candidate has an EPA Certification (level II preferred), a high school diploma or trade school graduate, and at least 3 years of related

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required, level II preferred.
• Must have one or more of the following: high school diploma or trade school.
• 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and ice-making systems.
• Applies specialized knowledge of steam distribution, piping, valves, water reheat systems, and energy management systems.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies, manages power outage procedures, and safety protocols using PPE.
• Coordinates with personnel regarding work orders, ensures compliance with building and safety regulations, and keeps tools and vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Dedicates 20% of the role to participating in meetings, training workshops, and assisting with special projects as assigned.
