Job summary

Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St Joseph is seeking an HVAC technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation work on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to keep facilities safe and comfortable.

Work with a supervisor and other trades, document work, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. This full-time role includes day shifts, 40 hours weekly, with on-site responsibilities and on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• MI driver''s license state MI required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive HVAC maintenance including installation, repair, and service of heating and cooling systems.
• Plan and coordinate work with other trades and contractors.
• Document procedures and work completed accurately and timely.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• HVAC construction work including layout, demolition and installation of HVAC systems.
