The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years HVAC experience, HVAC credential or Orange County Journeyman license, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years’ HVAC experience in commercial, industrial or health care organizations is required.
• HVAC technical diploma/certificate or Orange County HVAC Journeyman License.
• Four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the diploma/certificate or license (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with no more than six (6) points, at least 21 years of age, and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier’s requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, operation, inspection, preventive maintenance and repair duties involving heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration and related control systems throughout the facility.
• Ensures proper function and compliance of HVAC and related systems to support hospital operations.
