Job summary

Waconia Comfort seeks a Residential HVAC Service Technician - Level 3 Team Lead in Waconia, MN. You will diagnose advanced systems, mentor junior technicians, and lead our service training program with a commitment to craftsmanship and safety.

Expect an 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule, with some evenings and weekends and an on‑call rotation for emergencies. Earn $30–$38/hour plus commissions, with 401(k) and health benefits and a clear path to Level 4 advancement.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Mastery of Level 2 service tools, diagnostics, brazing, and refrigeration.
• Ability to work safely from ladders and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Proven leadership potential and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC.
• Directly mentor Entry to Level 2 technicians and lead training programs.
• Manage Home Comfort Club program and equipment ordering.
• Educate customers on upgrades and resolve service issues cooperatively.
• Accurately process service and warranty paperwork.
