Job summary

Hunton Trane is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Startup and Warranty Operations Manager to lead the office-based startup and warranty operations team. You will manage scheduling, workload, and performance while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing claims and documentation, coordinating with project managers and vendors, and driving process improvements to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in commercial HVAC operations, startups, warranties, or related services.
• Experience supervising field technicians, coordinators, dispatchers, or admins.
• Experience with technician scheduling, workload management, and service operations.
• Experience managing departmental financial performance, forecasts, gross margin, and labor utilization.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup and warranty operations team and ensure performance targets are met.
• Coordinate scheduling of HVAC technicians to optimize productivity and meet commitments.
• Establish performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations across the team.
• Coach and develop technicians and office staff; coordinate training needs.
• Monitor KPIs (utilization, productivity, response time, quality) and drive improvements.
• Oversee warranty administration, including claims, parts, and documentation.
• Forecast workload and staffing based on demand and project schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, vendors, and customers to resolve issues.
• Serve as escalation point for customer concerns and incidents.
