Job summary

Southern Home Services in Raleigh, NC seeks a Start-Up Warranty Technician to lead system start-ups, troubleshoot newly installed HVAC units, and ensure warranty compliance and performance. You will coordinate with installation teams and customers to resolve issues and document outcomes using digital tools.

The role requires CFC/EPA certification, strong HVAC knowledge, and a focus on high-quality workmanship and customer service. 8am–5pm, with 7am shop-day starts, plus opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• CFC/EPA Certification required
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems
• Valid drivers license with at least three years of driving
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship with a professional attitude
• Dedicated to exceptional customer service and addressing needs
• Able to interact professionally with all levels of staff
• Flexible, innovative team player in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

• Conduct start-ups of newly installed HVAC systems and verify performance
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues to restore function
• Deliver thorough service results and ensure customer satisfaction
• Notify office of required parts and expedite procurement
• Communicate with customers and builders to resolve issues
• Use company iPad to manage calls, track work, and maintain records
• Work hours 8:00 to 17:00, 7:00 start on shop days
• Perform additional duties as assigned
