Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is hiring an HVAC Maintenance Technician I to install and maintain HVAC systems across Massachusetts. You will perform start-up, testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance, while ensuring safety standards and quality workmanship.

You will document service activities, explain systems to customers, and collaborate with installation teams. Must have EPA 608 and HVAC training, with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited HVAC training program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• 2+ years of HVAC experience with start-up/commissioning.
• English proficiency in reading/writing and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, system start-up, and calibration of HVAC equipment.
• Test systems, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, and ensure code compliance.
• Explain operation and maintenance procedures to customers and document service activities.
• Collaborate with installation teams and project managers for successful project completion.
• Shadow junior technicians and provide training as needed.
