Custom Mechanical Solutions in Portland, OR, seeks an Account Manager to develop long-term customer relationships and maximize account penetration with contractor and consulting engineer accounts. You will promote CMS products by providing technical solutions, negotiate terms, and coordinate proposals and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature control equipment preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies potential opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Develops relationships with multiple buying influences in the customer's organization.
• Builds partnering relationships with contractors and consultants responsible for decision making.
• Determines project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet HVAC design and installation requirements.
• Responsible for the preparation and review of the proposal. Negotiates price, terms, and conditions with customer.
• Assists customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, CMS products, and problem resolution.
• Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required.
