Job summary

Custom Mechanical Solutions is seeking an Account Manager in Bellevue, WA to develop long-term customer relationships and maximize account penetration with contractor and consulting engineer accounts. You will promote CMS products and provide technical solutions to meet customer needs while expanding our offerings within each account.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, proposal development, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build deep customer relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours when needed.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems or temperature control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops long-term relationships with contractor and consulting engineer accounts.
• Identifies opportunities and expands CMS offerings within each account.
• Negotiates terms, prices, and contract conditions with customers.
• Prepares and reviews proposals and cost estimates for projects.
• Coordinates with engineers and contractors to write project specifications.
• Manages orders, tracking, and follow-up to ensure project success.
