Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sheet Metal Estimator for HVAC/ductwork in Tempe, AZ. You’ll own takeoffs, read plans/specs, quantify materials and labor, and build clean estimate worksheets for live bids reviewed by senior staff.

You’ll partner with fabrication, PM, and field to align production hours and logistics with how work is built. 0–2 years of sheet metal or related construction experience, beginner proficiency with Bluebeam and Excel, and a curious, detail‑driven mindset are ideal.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of sheet metal, HVAC, mechanical or construction experience (internships, shop/field time, design/drafting, or estimating all count).
• Beginner proficiency with Bluebeam and Excel; exposure to estimating tools is a plus.
• Clear, concise communication and curiosity about how things are made.

Responsibilities

• Own the fundamentals of takeoff on ductwork and accessories; read plans/specs, quantify materials & labor, and build clean estimate worksheets.
• Contribute to live bids with senior estimator review; assist in preparing scopes, alternates, and inclusions/exclusions.
• Partner with fabrication, PM, and field to validate production hours and logistics.
